200ml recently pressed lemon juice
500g fine sugar

To make the Drink (produces 850ml, serving 10)

150ml peach-flavored liqueur
200ml citrus syrup (as made above)
Fresh cranberries, as a garnish

For the Cordial: Place all the ingredients inside a pot, bring to a light boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Next, take off the heat and let it to cool entirely. Transfer into an sterilised bottle, close it and refrigerate it in the refrigerator, it will last for around one month.

Preparing the Cocktail Base: Mix the specified spirits and syrup in a sizeable container, allow it to infuse for 60 minutes, then strain preferably using a fine cloth, so it's perfectly clear.

When ready to serve: Pour 85ml of your premix into a stirring glass filled with ice, and stir lightly for about 60 seconds until cold. Pour into a frosted cocktail glass or equivalent, garnish with the cranberries and complete it using a light spray with the mandarin essence over the drink.
